Process
Embarking on a change process in your business comes about from your realisation there is a need for change to make life easier, to get more done in the time available, to reduce loss through inefficiency and benefit by having high quality information readily available.
We work with you analysing from process start to finish so that we understand your needs. Learning from that experience, we tailor the software and system to maximise your business efficiency. This will focus managers and business owners to identify strengths and weaknesses in your business and from that will spring opportunity and innovation.
As a result, the changes introduced to your business and systems will bring about many unforeseen benefits, in addition to the desired goals you set out to achieve at the start.
If you are a new business, identifying best practice right at the start will lead to success rather than failure.
There are 3 main phases to our process of designing, creating and implementing your new systems:
Phase 1: Researching
Initial discussion and meeting with you to identify the processes you use and need in your business.
In many cases:
- We start at the process end by establishing content required for sales invoices, management reports, delivery notes etc.
- We finish at the process start – how information is put into the system – i.e. data import – manual entry and user screen navigation and the look and feel of the application
- Ideas for change will be identified and debated, with you and by you
- Ideas for processes can be tested and proved or rejected before being adopted
- Once tested and proved, they are then validated and they become the new business process that we will build and work with you to implement
Phase 2: Committing
Your decision to commit to the project is the next stage.
To get you to that point:
- We prepare and agree with you a project plan, which sets out what is to be achieved by the new process and when that will happen
- We identify the cost and benefit
- You establish how to fund and support the project
- When you are satisfied the end gain is worthwhile, you can make the informed decision to proceed and allocate resources to the project
Phase 3: Implementation
You then commit to the project.
- We lead a logical progression of design and build
- Consultation with you and your team occurs at each milestone to keep the project on course and energised
- The project proceeds to final testing
- We train your staff
- Together we implement the new process
